Coding Outreach Group

The Coding Outreach Group (COG) was founded at Temple University by Haroon Popal and Elizabeth Beard.

I currently run COG with Billy Mitchell. Our aim is to help people learn more about coding, whether this is from a beginner or intermediate role. We love to code and want to share that with other students.

Much of our expertise lie in coding surrounding Psychology and Neuroimaging, but we are expanding!

Every summer we hold workshops on various techniques and languages. If you would like to preview some of the workshops that I have held, see the table of contents below. Each workshop is labeled as ‘Beginner’, ‘Intermediate’, or ‘Expert’. Beginner tutorials do not need any background in coding, Intermediate and Expert tutorials require coding knowledge (generally listed on the page what the prerequisites are).
